Blackberries

German SanLucar blackberries come from the area of Cologne-Bonn, from the Andalusian province of Huelva and from Italy. A lot of Spanish and Rhenish sun lets the fruit sugar stock up and the fruit gets very sweet and tasty.

SanLucar' Tip:

• Because blackberries are very vulnerable, they should be used quickly. However, they still last for two or three days in the fridge, if you spread them, without previously washing them, on a tray or a big plate and lay a humid cloth over them.
