Avocado



Only the extraordinary Hass-Avocado is allowed to wear SanLucar’s name. This variety was developed in 1930 in California and is the great-grandmother of all Hass trees worldwide. The speciality of the Hass avocado is it’s soft, white to green flesh, which tastes lightly sweet and nutty. You can recognize this delicious fruit by the black, thick skin with small bumps.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Avocados mature after harvesting and get their full aroma. To accelerate the process, you can put them together with apples, pears or tomatoes in a bag outside the fridge.
