On the contrary to other khakis, you can also eat the SanLucar Persimmon-Khaki with a firm condition. After the harvest, they are stored approximately 12 – 14 hours in a room of 22 degrees and a high percentage of carbon dioxide, where the gentle bitter taste disappears. In this way, you can also fully enjoy the intensive sweet flavour from the variety Brillante with a firm condition.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Let khakis ripen next to apples, if you want a ripe khaki, because of natural ripening gas, ethylene, from the apples accelerating the ripening of other fruits.
