Khaki



The rich soil as well as the pleasant microclimate of our growing region in Valencia offers the perfect conditions for our Kaki. We usually enjoy the Kaki just when the fruit is really soft – almost ready to spoon it. The SanLucar Persimon-Kaki is very special, because you can eat the intensely sweet fruit in a more solid condition too. Furthermore the SanLucar Kaki has a bright orange colouring and tastes very juicy.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Let khakis ripen next to apples, if you want a ripe khaki, because of natural ripening gas, ethylene, from the apples accelerating the ripening of other fruits.
