Charentais



SanLucar Charentais melons can be identified by its aroma: just smell the melon and let the sweet sunny aroma work on you. Characteristic of these melons from the south French area of Nimes is their smooth yellow-green skin with dark green stripes.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Charentais can be kept at a temperature of 3º C to 5º C in cool storage for a maximum period of 1 or 2 weeks.
  • To eat it raw, cut the melon in half, remove the seeds with a spoon and just spoon the flesh from the skin.
