Honeydew melons


SanLucar honeydew melons mature in the Mediterranean area near Murcia. There they are cherished by a mild winter, a lot of sun and a constant light breeze. It is no wonder that the yellow fruits with a light yellow flesh have the supersweet fruit sugar content of at least 12 degrees Brix.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Before you cut the honeydew melon in pieces cut a small cone at the melon’s stalk end. This way the pressure inside is less and you can cut the pieces more evenly.
  • Honeydew melons should be stored at 7° C to 10° C.
