Piel de Sapo

Characteristic of SanLucar Piel de Sapo is the long, oval shape and the dark green, rough skin with yellow stripes. The flesh is greenish white, with a crunchy consistency, specially sweet, refreshing and with an intense flavour. The seeds in it are easily removed. All these things make the Piel de Sapo the most loved melon in the Mediterranean area and our Sun king.

SanLucar' Tip:

• The Piel de Sapo is especially good as an appetizer with Parma or Serrano ham.
• It should be cooled between 7° C and 10° C.
