Beef Tomatoes


The big red beef tomatoes from SanLucar are produced from November to March in the Spanish region of Almeria, where the salty water gives them their unique flavour. The Dutch tomatoes grow up in the most modern greenhouses, where extra care is taken that they taste as good as their Spanish colleagues. They are fleshy, juicy and firm when cut. With their rather salty aroma and firm consistency, they are ideal for salads and also good to fill with other ingredients.

  • The big beef tomatoes are especially appropriate to stuff, grill or cook.
  • If you do not have canned tomatoes at home, you can also use beef tomatoes. Then you should scald them and peel them.
