Apples



During the European harvest the SanLucar apples come from Austria, Italy and Germany. From March until the end of August, they are cultivated in the best growing regions of New Zealand.

We have classified our apples in three different categories, based on their flavour.

To make Christmas time a little bit more wonderful we can offer you the weeks before Christmas the SanLucar “Weihnachts-Äpfel”, so called Christmas-Apples. This assortment excels thanks to a lot of details: beside the protective sheet, which protects the apples during the transport and on the POS, the attractive box in the Christmas design also makes it an attractive gift idea.

The “Lieblingsäpfel” are something like favourite apples. This confection should support the launch of our SanLucar apple concept. These apples are available in all of our four categories in the box with four pieces of fruit.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Apples should never be stored next to other fruits and vegetables. Its natural ripening gas (ethylene) accelerates the maturation process and they rot quicker.
  • The brown colouring of cut apples can be easily avoided if you sprinkle the cut surface with lemon juice.
  • 70% of the vitamines are in the skin, and that is why you should always eat them with the skin.
