SanLucar apples come during the European harvesting time above all from Styria and Tyrol. A lot of sun and perfect temperature differences, together with the fruitful, heavy soil enhance the delicious taste and the ideal colouring of the fruit. From March until the end of August SanLucar apples mature in the best fields in New Zealand, Chile and South Africa. In this way, you can have the freshest apples possible with varieties from delicious crunchy-juicy, firm-sour, loose-juicy, mild-sweet or juicy-refreshing apples all year round.

SanLucar' Tip:

  • Apples should never be stored next to other fruits and vegetables. Its natural ripening gas (ethylene) accelerates the maturation process and they rot quicker.
  • The brown colouring of cut apples can be easily avoided if you sprinkle the cut surface with lemon juice.
  • 70% of the vitamines are in the skin, and that is why you should always eat them with the skin.
