Peppers

Peppers are, due to their vulnerability to illnesses, the most difficult vegetable to cultivate without pesticides. That is why we only work with farmers who have a lot of experience and the necessary technical facilities for a controlled crop. We have chosen for SanLucar the variety California Wonder in red, green, yellow and orange with stalk, due to its pungent flavour. The special packaging “Rainbow Peppers“ brings with the splendid coloured mix a lot of variety to the table.

SanLucar' Tip:

• Keep fresh peppers in cling film in the vegetables drawer. This way they last approximately 2 weeks.
• Depending on how you are going to use them, you should wash the peppers, cut them in half or quarters, take the stalk away, the white veins and the seeds.
