Zucchini/courgette

The typical SanLucar courgette is dark green, shiny, firm and, above all, small. You can also recognize SanLucar courgettes because they are straight to slightly bent and have, from the flower end to the stalk, a round shape.

SanLucar' Tip:

• Zucchini should not be stored with tomatoes or fruits, because the ripening gas ethylene accelerates their ripening and the flesh becomes soft.
• The smaller and fresher the zucchini, the better the flavour.
