So that the grapes especially get lots of light, the leaves on the vines are cut back. But not too much, so they won’t get burned by the scorching sun. Reflections from spread out stones ensure that the grape will get sunlight even from underneath. For the beautiful big fruits to grow evenly, the grapes, which are too small, are cut from the vines during the period of growth. And instead of pesticide we prefer the use of hedgehogs. They love to eat the snails, which otherwise themselves would love to eat the grapes.
