Fit as a fiddle – our farm inhabitants

Juicy oranges, sweet mandarins and refreshing lemons – all these delicious fruits are grown by the inhabitants of our Rooihoogte farm in sunny South Africa. Many of them work on the plantations and are often out in the fresh air. This is healthy. Nevertheless, the farm inhabitants wanted to do even more for their health. They wanted a gym.

The sponsorship association “Träume werden wahr wahr e.V.” (Dreams Come True) founded by SanLucar trade partners did not hesitate for long and generously supported their wish. So the old kindergarten – which stood empty after the construction of the new Speelskool – was converted to a gym for the farm inhabitants.

The walls were painted bright, dumbbells and sports equipment were bought.

No wonder the farm inhabitants mastered our four-kilometre RUN4DREAMS run in October with such ease. They’re fit as a fiddle now!
