SanLucar helps young athletes

You just can’t state it often enough: Anyone who eats a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables and also has plenty of consistent movement will feel fit and well. Therefore, it’s a matter close to our hearts to support the Charity Golf Tournament in Brunn am Gebirge, Austria, as the main partner of Sporthilfe – which, among other things, includes a fruity and colourful vitamin station and fruit gift baskets for the tournament winners. On 6 September – after a brunch for our Austrian Managing Director Alex Thaller, his wife Marion, TV presenter Volker Piesczek and his wife Eva as well as many other sports celebrities – we went to the green of the Golf & Country Club Brunn. In front of them lay 18 holes, which were all mastered with lots of fun, skilful tee-offs, backspins and chips.

At the end of the tournament, which ended with dinner and a raffle, 10,000 euros were raised for the Österreichische Sporthilfe (Austrian Sport Support). Young top athletes who are already in the starting blocks for a great career are very pleased about this support.
