The fact that we as SanLucar are friends of colourful salad bowls is probably no secret. Ever since we got wind of the latest trend: the Buddha Bowl, we’ve become true lovers of it!
But what exactly is it? In order to make a Buddha Bowl, you don’t need much – just a big bowl into which a lot of fine and healthy things fit. For instance, leafy greens, vegetables, quinoa or dips. They’re not just put into the bowl any way, but are elaborately draped – like a mandala. A good mixture of delicious proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats are what you get, which looks like something you want to bite into to boot – and makes our salad appetite grow!
