How much vegetables and fruit are beneficial?

More and more, new nutritional trends like paleo or vegan food have been making the rounds because they are apparently super healthy. But what makes a diet healthy?

Do you have to switch to a stone-age diet, food without dairy products or other new nutritional models?

Don’t worry, you don’t have to! You should have enough fruit and vegetables to spread out throughout the day. They used to say that 5 servings daily are optimal. Today is: 7 a day! In a study conducted by University College London with 65,000 people, it was found that the risk of death decreases by 42% if you eat 7 or more servings of fruit and vegetables every day. Since some fruits have a high percentage of fruit sugar, it’s better to have tomato, cucumber, bell peppers and the like, or salads on your shopping list, too. They are not only really healthy, but also fill you up very nicely. So… Bon appetit!
