The multinational company continues to work for a sustainable development
(Valencia, Spain. 14th October 2020). – One more year, SanLucar has reaffirmed its commitment to the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals by publishing its Progress Report for the 2018/2019 campaign.
This document provides transparent information on the corporate responsibility initiatives that have been undertaken by the premium fruit and vegetable brand. The company, which signed the Global Compact in 2011 and has been a member of the Spanish Global Compact Network since 2018, publishes its progress report annually. This time, the report introduces a new chapter dedicated to the topic of production.
Since SanLucar was founded, the company’s daily activity has been determined by its corporate philosophy: Taste in harmony with people and nature. As part of its corporate responsibility program DREAMS (Developing Responsible Environments And Multicultural Societies), SanLucar is carrying out international social and environmental projects for employees, their families and the local community. “We collaborate with non-profit organizations, the Spanish Global Compact Network and the work group of the food sector, as well as chambers of commerce, suppliers and clients. Together we have more ideas and strength to achieve a sustainable impact in all countries where we are present,” explains Stephan Rötzer, founder and owner of the SanLucar Group.
For 10 years SanLucar has been publishing its sustainability data with the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) indicators, adding every year more of the group’s subsidiaries to the scope of the report.
