Grandmas have the natural-born talent of turning the simplest dishes into a taste experience – and to demonstrate her love with every bite! Especially with her apple pie. Believe us, it’s irresistible – there’s nothing better! Are you curious now? Grandma has given us the recipe, so we can share it with you. Here it is:
Ingredients:
- 6 SanLucar Opal® Apples
- 170 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Grated lemon peel
- Apricot jam
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180° C. Mix milk and sugar with 4 pureed apples. Add the beaten egg and grated lemon peel. Add flour and baking powder and mix to a smooth dough. Put the mixture into a greased tart form and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, cover with apple slices and spread the apricot jam over it. Bake another 20 minutes.
