Caramelised cinnamon pineapple with mint

You have already selected a delicious appetizer and a delicious main course for your three-course menu, now all you need is the crowning conclusion? Before you frantically get out all the cookbooks, we have a dessert that’ll tickle your taste buds with exotic sweetness and freshness and round off every meal deliciously.


  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoons of vegetable (neutral flavour) oil
  • 400 g SanLucar Pineapple
  • 100 ml pineapple juice
  • 3 sprigs of SanLucar Mint


Blend the sugar and cinnamon powder. Melt the butter and oil in a pan. Dice the peeled pineapple and fold in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Sauté at low heat for 5-6 minutes. Then heat up and add the pineapple juice carefully. Allow to simmer for five minutes. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems, place the caramelised cinnamon pineapple on a plate and sprinkle the mint over it. Serve lukewarm.
