Hearty Summer Night’s Toast

Do you love sitting outside with friends after a hot summer day, pampering yourself with a glass of wine and leaving your cares behind? It so wonderful that you don’t notice how fast the time passes. Suddenly, it’s nearly midnight and your urge to eat is back. When this happens, we have the perfect night meal for you. It’s wonderfully aromatic and quite light – give it a try.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of full grain toast
  • 30 g of parsley pesto
  • 250 g SanLucar Grapes
  • 40 g walnuts
  • 150 g of gorgonzola
  • 20 g of arugula lettuce

Preparation

Toast the bread slices golden yellow and spread with parsley pesto. Cover with halved grapes and sprinkle over with chopped walnuts. Crush the gorgonzola and spread it on the toast. Grill at 160 degrees in a well-preheated oven until the cheese starts to run. Serve with fresh arugula leaves before serving.
