Strawberries with melissa sorbet

Do you also feel it? Spring is coming fast and there is nothing you can’t stop it! With great anticipation for the sunny and warm days, we have found a delicious treat for you. Our refreshing Melissa Sorbet with aromatic SanLucar Strawberries is very easy to prepare and is a light alternative to the heavier milk variations. Because one thing is clear: after spring, bikini season follows very quickly!


  • 400 g SanLucar Strawberries
  • 2 SanLucar Lemons
  • 150 ml of grape juice
  • 200 ml of water
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 stalks of lemon balm


Cut the lemon in slices. Bring to a boil together with grape juice and water. Add sugar slowly. Wash the lemon balm and pour into the cooled syrup. Leave for 20 minutes. Strain and place the syrup in the refrigerator for an hour. Then puree with the bar mixer and freeze again for five hours. Wash strawberries, remove leaves and cut into slices. Take the sorbet out of the refrigerator, add the strawberry slices and decorate with lemon balm.
