Avocado with grapes celery salad

Whatever you heap on yourself, you must also spoon out. When this expression refers difficulties, it’s not a good thing. But if you’re talking about avocado, celery and grapes, it tastes very fruity, looks fantastic and makes me want to grab a spoon.

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 150 g stalk celery
  • 150 g of dark grapes
  • 1/2 apple
  • 2 tbsp of walnut kernels
  • 125 g of sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 orange slices


Clean and wash the celery stalks and put some celery green aside. Cut stalks diagonally into thin slices. Wash the grapes, halve or quarter them depending the size and deseed. Cut the apple in quarters, deseed and cut it into pieces. Coarsely chop the walnuts. Mix together the celery, grapes, apple and half of the walnuts. Mix the sour cream and the lemon juice, add sugar to taste. Halve the avocados, remove the pits.

Then fill the avocado with the celery, and spread the cream over it. Finally sprinkle with the remaining nuts and garnish with celery green and orange slices.
