Asian style broccoli

Asian style broccoli

I have a great recipe tip for you! It’s for all who enjoy food, but also want to watch their figures.

My colleague, Märry and I tried the recipe together last week.

We were surprised at how quickly we could make it for lunch. And even more by how delicious it was.

Ingredients (for 2 people):

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 EL soy sauce
  • 1 tsp of liquid honey
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame
  • 350 g SanLucar Broccoli

Preparation:

Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat the Olive Oil and lightly brown the garlic at medium heat. Add soy sauce and honey, briefly boil gently. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and sesame oil and set aside.

Roast the sesame in a skillet without fat to light brown. Separate the broccoli into small florets. Peel the stem, cut it into thin slices and lay them out at the bottom of a steamer insert. Place the florets on the slices. Fill the bottom of the steaming pot with water, place the steam insert in the pot, close and steam for 7 minutes. Then mix the broccoli with the sauce and sprinkle with sesame.

This is best served with toasted white bread slices, couscous or Asian rice noodles.
