Grilled pineapple with bacon

We have something very special for you. Of course, you’re familiar with corn-on-the-cob and vegetable skewers, but how about some pineapple for your tasty barbecue? The fruity aroma of our sweet tropical queen gets grilled and combined with spicy bacon for a magical culinary experience. Simply delicious – and the best recipe for a successful barbecue evening with a touch of exoticism!


  • 1 SanLucar Pineapple
  • 150 g of smoked bacon


Peel the pineapple and cut it into slices approximately 2 cm thick. Remove the core with a sharp knife or a corer. Halve the pineapple slices and stick them on the grill skewers with a slice of bacon. Grill or fry from each side for about three minutes.
