A place for feeling good: Our finca in Porterville

How about a short trip to South Africa? Today we take you to our Finca in Porterville. We grow our grapes here on 25 hectares. But our Finca mainly consists of mandarins, oranges and lemon orchards. If the fruits have enough sun and can be harvested, we then take them to three large warehouses. There ­– in accordance with our strict SanLucar guidelines – they are then inspected, selected and made ready for sale in Europe.

But not only our fruits live on the Finca: we provide 100 employees with houses and running water, sanitation and light here.

Of course, we want them and their families to feel at home here. That’s why we also have a nursery, where educators and social workers look after our employees’ children. And if you want to let some steam off after work, you can do another lap around the sports field. Or drop by the recreation room, where you can use a computer anytime you want. As you can see: Our Finca in Porterville is a real place for feeling good – not just a place for grapes and citrus fruits.
